‘Shannen Says’: Babysitting Quickly Turns Into A Nightmare For Shannen And Kurt

Kurt Iswarienko convinced his wife Shannen Doherty to give babysitting a try on the latest “Shannen Says” (Tue., 10 p.m. ET on WE), but the experience was nothing like they’d hoped. As soon as the baby’s parents left, the wailing began, and there was nothing the couple could do to stop it.

“He’s just sad that they’re leaving. He’ll be okay in one second,” Shannen said, but quickly realized it may not be that easy. “Maybe not one second.”

Nothing they tried seemed to make a difference, and they found themselves bickering over the best way to handle the crying baby situation. Any parent can sympathize, as there is nothing so challenging as trying to find out why a baby is crying. No one wants to see a baby suffering, but when it’s not clear why it’s happening, feelings of helplessness can settle in.

When mom and dad showed up, it was almost comical how quickly Shannen and Kurt passed over the baby and ushered the parents out of the house. “Never babysitting again,” Shannen declared.

“Never anything baby again,” Kurt agreed.

Did someone put a spell on Shannen Doherty?

The volatile “Shannen Says” star surprised onlookers Wednesday by posing with former “Charmed” cast mate Holly Marie Combs at Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood 2012 style issue event.

So, what’s the big deal?

Well, Doherty was unceremoniously fired from “Charmed” in 2001, three years after the 41-year-old actress joined the show as the powerful witch Prue Halliwell, older sister to Piper and Phoebe (played by Combs and Alyssa Milano, respectively).

The telekinetic sorceress was killed off in Season 3 after reportedly clashing with one of her free-willed sisters, both on and off screen.

“We definitely didn’t get along,” Milano told TV Guide in 2001. Of course, this came as no surprise to Doherty’s fans who were familiar with her previous clashes with cast mates on the set of “Beverly Hills, 90210.” (Doherty left that show after four years.)

But Combs, the other “Charmed” sister, voiced her support for Doherty. “We all had our bad days,” she said, and even went so far as to bash the show’s executives for firing the star over the phone. “It was really a tacky way to go about it,” Combs told TV Guide.

Rose McGowan replaced Doherty, joining the cast as as Paige, the youngest of the Halliwell sisters. She stayed with the series until its eighth and final season in 2006.

Despite the show ending six years ago, Doherty clearly still appreciates Combs’ support, having posted a number of backstage shots of the 38-year-old “Pretty Little Liars” star last night, describing her as “my girl” and part of her “gang.”

Jennie Garth may not have a man in her life, but she’ll always have her Beverly Hills, 90210 costars.

To celebrate her 40th birthday and the premiere of her CMT reality series A Little Bit Country, Garth hosted a party at The London in West Hollywood Thursday; Shannen Doherty, 41, and Ian Ziering, 48, showed up to rally around their newly single pal.

“Ian greeted Jennie and gave her a big kiss on the cheek,” a partygoer tells Us Weekly. “They were all really sweet with each other and seem to be real friends. Jennie was definitely happy they were there to support her.”

SHANNEN DOHERTY is ready to be a mom, and plans to adopt within the year!

The 41-year-old former “Beverly Hills, 90210″ star – who wed photographer KURT ISWARIENKO last October – has finally put her wild-child past behind her, insiders say, and hears her biological clock ticking.

“Shannen would love to have children the natural way, but she knows the risk of birth defects is higher at her age, and that scares her,” said an insider.

“While she hasn’t completely ruled out giving birth, she’s more interested in exploring her options with adoption. She knows there are many children who need a good home, and she’d love to provide that. Shannen also thinks that adopting a child would help fix her longtime ‘bad girl’ image and get her acting career back on track.”

The former “Charmed” star – who was busted for writing bad checks in the early 1990′s and suspicion of drunk driving in 2000 – separated from troubled actor ASHLEY HAMILTON in 1994 after five months of marriage.

Her 2002 marriage to RICK SALOMON – PARIS HILTON’s partner in an infamous sex tape – was annulled in 2003. She tied the knot with Kurt, 37, last october, and footage of the wedding will air on her new WE reality show, “Shannen Says.”

“Shannen really wants the show to take off,” said the source. “She’s already telling producers she’ll let them film the adoption of a child in Season 2. She’s happier than ever, and she and Kurt can’t wait to add a new member to their family!”

Alyssa Milano has “declared war” on baby teething.

The 39-year-old actress and her husband David Bugliari welcomed son Milo Thomas into the world last August. Alyssa – who has previously gushed about how well behaved her child is – is currently encountering problems, and has taken to her Twitter page to vent to fans.

“I’ve declared a War On Teething. #AxisOfEvilIncisors (sic),” she quipped on the social networking site.

The stunning star uses her Twitter account to keep fans up-to-date on the latest goings-on at home. Alyssa gushed about her son and husband over the weekend.

“I love my family so much it makes me ache (sic),”she wrote.

Milo is Alyssa’s first child, and the star has previously joked he is so good he makes her look like she knows what she’s doing.

“Everything is going so well. David told me, ‘It’s like you were dropped off from Planet Mom!’ I said, ‘No, he’s such a great baby, he’s just making me look good!’” she joked in an interview soon after Milo’s birth.
